The 30/10 Plan....  Putting the LA Green Economy on the Fast Track!

The "30/10" Measure R Action Plan is our opportunity to accelerate the completion of the 30-year Measure R transportation system Los Angeles County desparately needs in just 10 years.
 
Here are links to the Move LA sample letter, email message & phone rap and a list of key legislators to contact about your support for the 30/10 Measure R plan.  We encourage each of you to use these and personalize your message.  Each message has these four key points:

  1. Help Los Angeles County obtain Federal dollars to accelerate a 30-year Measure R plan into a 10-year reality.
  2. Champion the LA Metro application for New Starts funding for the Wilshire Subway and the Downtown Regional Connector.
  3. Champion other federal funds for the Crenshaw LRT and the Foothill Gold Line Extension.
  4. Support the creation of a federal loan program, such as a National Infrastructure Development Bank, to make a significant loan to LA Metro at low interest rates secured by our Measure R revenue stream.
The main point to emphasize is that Los Angeles County needs Federal dollars to accelerate a 30-year Measure R plan into a 10-year reality.

As we saw with the success of Measure R, if we work together, we can accomplish many things.
