Last year, Governor Newsom vetoed the Free Student Transit Pass Program (AB 1919) despite a historic budget surplus. Join us on January 10th in Sacramento as K-12 students, parents, community college and university students, transit advocates, and climate justice leaders as we say to Governor Newsom and the California Senate and Assembly: "Get Off Your Budget and on the Bus!"
We will meet at 11:45AM at 350 Sacramento, 909 12th Street, Suite #116, Sacramento, CA for lobby training and food. Then we will meet with elected officials and their staff to encourage them to fund student transit passes. RSVP for this free event!
