Asm. Holden’s fare-free student transit pass bill, AB 1919, comes up in Senate Appropriations on August 1 at 10 a.m. The bill has passed two Assembly committees and got off the Assembly floor with only 1 NO vote, and got out of the Senate Transportation Committee with full support. But Senate Appropriations is where the fiscal impact of the bill is considered—and it’s a tough committee, there’s no public testimony, and most bills get put on suspense. 

So please call to ask any/all of these seven Senate Appropriations Committee members to support the bill, or you can tell all state leaders to support it in the comment form at the bottom of this page:
