Pledge to Vote for Measure M now!

Measure H, the “LA County Plan to Prevent and Combat Homelessness,” is the March 7 ballot measure that will help end homelessness for 47,000 people across LA County, including women and children, veterans, seniors, foster youth and people with disabilities.

Measure H is a special ¼-cent sales tax that can only be used for the specific purposes of funding homeless services and housing. The average consumer would pay a little more than $1 a month.

Measure H would invest $350 million a year for 10 years in solutions that have been proven to both end and prevent homelessness, including comprehensive supportive services like mental health care and job training, and long-term solutions like permanent housing.

90% of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in LA County do not live on “Skid Row.” Measure H funds would be allocated equitably to cities across the county to support both nonprofit homeless providers—like LA Family Housing in the San Fernando Valley, Union Station Homeless Services in the San Gabriel Valley, and Harbor Interfaith Services in San Pedro, to name ju8st a few—as well as public sector agencies like the LA County Department of Mental Health.
