The national Rail Users Network is bringing their national conference to Los Angeles this year because of the rail renaissance underway here. Move LA Executive Director Denny Zane is on the Friday, March 27, agenda as is Art Leahey, former Metro CEO and now CEO of Metrolink. The program agenda includes a discussion of local projects as well as High Speed Rail, and efforts to preserve the current routing of Amtrak’s venerable Southwest Chief.

At this year’s event, on Friday, April 24, LABC will be releasing a new report on strategies for sustainable economic development along the Los Angeles River.
