The Festival Trail Hub at The Music Center
The Festival Trail Hub is partnering with The Music Center during Grand Ave Arts: All Access to showcase a new vision for public life, connectivity, and cultural celebration in Los Angeles during the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games -- and beyond. Visitors are invited to explore a Community Hub Prototype, featuring a shade structure and a digital art exhibition that tells the story of Festival Trail.
11:00–1:00 p.m. – Interactive Digital Art Exhibition by Arup, LA Commons' Ribbon Art Activity celebrating their 25th Anniversary, and tree give away from North East Trees.
1:00–2:00 p.m. – Panel Discussion: Remixing Los Angeles moderated by Frances Anderton, featuring Los Angeles Councilmember Nithya Raman, Festival Trail Co-Founder Christopher Torres and more civic leaders, discussing how to create an inclusive and catalytic Olympic legacy for all.
2:00–3:00 p.m. – Procession: Community Movement Through Time and Place — presented by Dance Resource Center and LA Commons, in partnership with The Music Center, featuring Tropicaleiza Dance + Drum Company. Experience a vibrant community procession and dance party celebrating movement, artistry, and connection in the heart of Downtown LA.
