Measure HLA: 2024 drop
The City of LA received voter-approved funding and approved its Mobility Plan in 2015 to ensure our buses, trains, bikes, scooters, cars, and walkers could all get around efficiently. Unfortunately, the City has been far too slow in implementing that vision, and so we were proud to work alongside business, labor, environmental, and advocacy organizations led by Streets for All to qualify and pass Measure HLA, the Healthy Streets citizens’ initiative. Thanks to voters, who overwhelmingly supported the measure with 65% support, we can now hold the City accountable for implementing that vision for healthier and safer ways to get around and a real mandate from voters who want more multi-modal options.
